List of Events

Demonstrations will include: the organic waste collected as part of the Weekly Organic Waste Trial in Merbein and Gol Gol, the process of decontamination, shredding of the organic waste using the state-of-the-art shredder obtained via the Building Victoria's Organics Recovery Fund, monitoring of the temperature and oxygen levels of the compost, and the final product - pasteurised compost.
This project has the potential to accept commercial and industrial waste in the future.

Mildura Development Corporation with Mildura Wines and Department of Business and Innovation will be holding a networking breakfast with internationally acclaimed manufacturing expert Professor Gӧran Roos.  Gӧran will address issues effecting the manufacturing sector including operating in a high cost environment.  THe event is open to the public.

Göran Roos was named one of the 13 most influential thinkers for the 21st Century by the Spanish business journal and was appointed “Manufacturing for the Future” Thinker in Residence by the South Australian Premier for 2011.
Göran Chairs the Advanced Manufacturing Council in Adelaide and a member of the board for VTT International in Finland. He is the author and co-author of over one hundred books, book chapters, papers and articles on Intellectual Capital, Innovation Management, Strategy and Industrial Policy many of which have been recognised with awards.
